The books have been delivered. Not to me yet, but to the University of Regina Press, which shared a photo on the Dead Ends Facebook page.
The official release date is still two weeks away, and probably a little longer before they reach stores. But it’s great to see all those words turned into a physical object, especially one with such a cool cover design by Duncan Campbell.
I grew to like ebooks in our town in Honduras, where there were few books in English or Spanish. I knew I had converted when I found myself tapping the right side of a page in a scavenged paperback left behind by a traveller, waiting for the next page to appear.
But there is something special about a real, physical book.
Especially your own.
